What is considered an emergency?
Any sudden or severe reaction after a treatment, such as facial or lip swelling, difficulty breathing, severe pain, blistering, or signs of infection like spreading redness, pus or fever. Contact us right away. If it’s life-threatening, call 112 or go to the nearest hospital first.
Is some redness or swelling after treatment normal?
Yes. Mild redness, swelling or tenderness for a day or two is a common part of recovery after many skin treatments. It should ease gradually. If it gets worse, lasts longer than expected, or comes with pain, blistering or fever, contact us.
